Like the good shepherd cares for his wondering sheep we care for our guests
Our Location.
We are located near The Greek Orthodox site of the Shepherds’ Fields in the middle of “the fields” 2 km southeast of Bethlehem.Shepherds’ field is a land of historical and biblical significance as there are ruins throughout the area from Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic times. Biblical tradition has it that David was born and crowned as the king of Israel in the city of Bethlehem which is minutes away from the Hotel. For Christians, it is identified as the scene where the Angel of the Lord visited the shepherds, and informed them of the birth of Jesus.
(LUKE 2:8-10).
“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”
